While some kids like to rebel, other children will try to emulate their parents—whether that means their personality, their style, or even their career. Ever since giving birth to Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. in 2017, tennis legend Serena Williams has experienced what it's like to have her own mini-me. The 3-year-old began tennis lessons in 2020, and fans are eager to see if she'll one day reach the incredible heights of her mother's career. But until then, Olympia is still giving us a glimpse into what she looks like embodying Willams on the court. Recently, she recreated her own mini version of one of Williams' tennis catsuits. Williams' daughter Olympia was recently seen sporting a mini, recreated version of her mother's outfit from the 2021 Australian Open. Alexis Ohanian, Williams' husband and Olympia's father, shared an Instagram post to Olympia's account on June 9 of the 3-year-old wearing a black, pink, and red asymmetric catsuit—identical to the one Williams wore during the tournament on Feb. 8.
"Practice makes….," Alexis captioned the photo, which showed Olympia on the tennis court with a racket in her hand.

Willams wanted to pose with her daughter in matching outfits.
While Olympia's Instagram post received love from thousands of followers, it seems one follower wasn't too appreciative of the post. Williams made it clear that she wanted her husband to wait to post their daughter in the outfit until the two could pose together in the matching attire.
"Awwwww mannnnnn I asked you to save this post until I was next to her side my side in my same outfit," Williams replied. "Oophhh I guess I'll have to pull the plug from your phone tonight. And you wake up wondering why you have no battery LOL."
The tennis star has been rocking catsuits for years.
Williams wore this catsuit on the first day of the 2021 Australian Open, which was held in Melbourne. The outfit was custom designed by long-term sponsor Nike, which has created a few catsuits for the tennis star after she signed a $55 million sponsorship contract with the athletic company in 2003, per ESPN. Williams has been known for wearing catsuits, which also have health benefits. During interviews at the French Open in 2018—where Williams was also sporting a catsuit—she revealed that she had been suffering from blood clots since given birth to Olympia in 2017.
"I had a lot of problems with my blood clots … so it is definitely a little functionality to it," Williams explained. "I have been wearing pants in general a lot when I play, so I can keep the blood circulation going. It's a fun suit but it's also functional, so I can be able to play without any problems."

And she revealed this particular catsuit was a tribute to another athlete.
Williams' 2021 Australian Open catsuit was show-stopping and helped the tennis star defeat Laura Siegemund. But that's not all. Williams also told reporters that the catsuit was a tribute to another female athlete: Florence Griffith Joyner, also known as Flo-Jo. Joyner was a track legend, who still holds world records she set in 1988.
"I was inspired by Flo-Jo, who was a wonderful track athlete, amazing athlete, when I was growing up. Watching her fashion, just always changing. Her outfits were always amazing," Williams told reporters after the tournament, per The Washington Post. "This year we thought of what can we do to keep elevating the Serena Williams on the court. The Nike team actually thought of this design of inspiration from Flo-Jo. I was like, 'Oh, my God, this is so brilliant.'"
